Getting Here

Libby, MT sits at the junction of State Highway 37 and US Highway 2. Libby is also about 15 miles east of US Highway 2's junction with State Highway 56. Our city is about 3 hours east of Spokane, Washington, 3.5 hours northwest of Missoula, Montana, and 2.5 hours west of Glacier National Park.

Libby does have its own airport, though many travelers chose to fly into the larger airports in Kalispell, Missoula, or Spokane. Libby has Amtrak service twice a day, both east and west, making this a convenient means of travel for many visitors and residents. However, given the scenic beauty of the region, travel by car is an option that should be seriously considered.

Motels and Restaurants

Libby has many accommodations for visitors from motels and campgrounds to bed & breakfasts. In addition, fire lookout towers can be rented from the Forest Service for stays in the wilderness. There are many restaurants to chose from in Libby as well, including national fast food options, local American fare, and even some ethnic cuisine.
